In “Incredibles 2,” Helen voiced by Holly Hunte is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob voiced by Craig T. Nelson navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voiced by Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice by Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone, voiced by Samuel L. Jackson by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible, well that and Jack Jack!
All the makings for some Incredi-Kabobs
School is out and the perfect time to start working on some new skills. Inspired by the movie and Incredibly easy to make, wait for it..... we made Incredi-Kabobs! See what I did there. I'm trying to get my girl more hands on in the kitchen so she can make healthy snacks for herself this summer. Currently she grabs simple stuff or makes popcorn but I know she can do more. My girl is a healthy eater so this snack was a simple one to get her involved in making, especially when I tied it in with Incredibles 2 movie releasing soon. Sometimes it's all in the presentation, so if you have a picky eater keep that in mind.
Here's what you will need and might even have on hand!
- Fruit of Choice
- Bamboo Skewers
- Meat of Choice
- Cheese of Choice
- Olives
Assemble cut fruit, sequencing to make a game out of it. Do same with meat and cheese one adding olives if desired. You could do a cool color combo replicating the Incredibles scheme like we did with Mozzarella or cheddar, black olive and salami. With the fruits you could do watermelon, strawberries, mango, pineapple, black berries or bananas to keep with the color theme.
