International Children’s Day Festival Aquarium of the Pacific

14th Annual International Children’s Day Festival at the Aquarium of the Pacific

March 16th-17th

Celebrating the amazing talents of children of all cultures. The International Children's day festival features West African, Mexican, Pacific Islander, Cambodian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Persian dance performances as well as fun activities.

Enjoy performances by an international children’s choir and martial arts demonstrations. Kids of all ages can partake in a percussion circle, face painting, Japanese origami, Native American crafts, and Pacific Islander traditional children’s games.

The Aquarium will also be honoring a local youth with it's annual Young Hero Award in recognition of their efforts to make our planet a better place. The Aquarium is a community gathering place where diverse cultures and the arts are celebrated, the International Children’s Day is the culmination of all the cultural festivals. Go and celebrate the children in your lives and children around the world at this special annual event.
