Ever been to the park during this, the scariest time of the year? Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood brings IT! For over 20 years, the sickest minds in horror immerse guests in a living, breathing, three-dimensional world of terror with scare actors at your service around every creepy corner. Featuring an all-new slate of unrivaled film production quality mazes, frightful scare zones and a fully re-imagined “Terror Tram” experience uniquely themed to today’s most definitive horror properties, “Halloween Horror Nights” will taunt, terrorize and torment guests with spine-chilling haunted attractions as part of Southern California’s most extreme Halloween experience. Sounds great to me.... muahaha!

What's new this year: Halloween Horror Night fans, take heed! The Shinning is coming and bringing it's bloody mess with it, but no need to fret, you can always call housekeeping... I'm they sure they are accustomed to the ways of the Overlook's caretaker Johnny. Read about the new mazes coming to Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort, beginning this September. Oh and as it will be peek season, best make your reservations now, you wouldn't want to be left out in the cold now would you?

Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights

"The Shining” maze at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights will provide guests with a unique opportunity to relive some of the film’s most iconic, and sinister, moments.  While venturing through the eerie Overlook Hotel, guests will be thrust into the hotel’s tragic history of murder and madness, bearing witness to caretaker Jack Torrance’s spiraling descent into insanity. Nightmarish visions will come to life in this macabre maze, overwhelming guests with the “shine” of the murderous, ghostly entities that lurk around every turn all while trying to escape the wrath of Jack Torrance as he violently succumbs to the hotel’s paranormal forces. Sounds like the perfect vacation spot to me. And if that's not enough to get you crying for your mommy.......

Universal Studios Hollywood Resurrects FX’s Acclaimed Anthology Series, “American Horror Story,” Bringing the Latest “Roanoke” Nightmare to “Halloween Horror Nights,” Beginning Friday, September 15!

I wouldn't want the suspense to kill you, here is just some of wait awaits you in the dark, more to be announced soon...

·         The Shining, inspired by the iconic psychological thriller.

·         “American Horror Story: Roanoke,” based on FX’s critically-acclaimed, Emmy® and Golden Globe® Award-winning television series.

“American Horror Story: Roanoke” will unearth the twisted legacy of The Lost Colony of Roanoke, transporting guests to the haunted backwoods of North Carolina where they will experience the terror that has tormented the town for centuries. This all-new maze, recreated in disturbing details, will unleash a cast of deranged killers, from the cannibalistic Polk family who subsist by feeding upon innocent victims to The Butcher who thrives on human sacrifices. Trapped in a vicious circle of evil and murder, guests will find themselves in a life or death battle to outrun the nightmare of Roanoke before the vindictive spirts and demented killers soak the earth with the blood of their victims. Running shoes a plus I'm thinking!

·         “ASH vs. Evil Dead,” based on Starz’s comedy horror television series.

·         “Titans of Terror” maze and the “Titans of Terror Tram Hosted by Chucky,” two all-new experiences featuring Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface and Chucky.
