Tickets to Descanso Gardens Holiday Events Carved and Enchanted are on Sale Now
Tickets for Descanso Gardens holiday events, Carved and Enchanted Forest of Light are on sale now to the general public. This beautiful destination in La Canada has it’s very own unique take on Halloween and is once again presenting Carved. This enjoyable holiday installation occurs October 7-31, 2022 and will feature exciting new displays and experiences. Enchanted, which is a sell out light show has become a local holiday tradition for families and will be held November 20, 2022-January 8, 2023 with its preview party fundraiser on November 19, 2022. Both of these amazing event sell out every year so don’t delay securing your tickets!
Carved is a family-friendly event for all ages. For three weeks in October, thousands of carved pumpkins will line the Camellia Forest. This year’s event will be bigger and better than before, with all kinds of new activities and activations. Along with the pumpkins, the ever-popular pumpkin house, hay maze, and holiday-themed food and beverage, guests will enjoy:
UV “black light” experiences
Live demonstration by pumpkins sculpting artists
Special Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) installation at the Amphitheater
Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Dates: October 7–31, 2022
Entry times: 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm, 8:30pm & 9pm
Tickets: $20–$26 for Descanso Gardens members, $32–$38 for non-members
Kids under 2 are free. The event route is about 1 mile long and takes most visitors about one hour to complete. It is accessible for strollers, wheelchairs and mobility assistance devices. Evenings in La Cañada Flintridge can be chilly so please dress warmly. Participants are encouraged to wear walking shoes.
Parking is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitors can once again experience the wonder of Enchanted Forest of Light from November 20, 2022-January 8, 2023. Popular returning favorites include an entire town of magical “stained glass” creations built in the Rose Garden by contemporary sculptor Tom Fruin; sparkling, swirling installations from HYBYCOZO on the Main Lawn; Flower Power on the Promenade; and exquisite lighting effects in the Ancient Forest.
Enchanted is a rain-or-shine event. Tickets are non-refundable, have timed entry, and must be purchased on line in advance.
