Dia de Los Muertos at the LA Arboretum
Families are invited to a magical and meaningful celebration for all ages. Día de los Muertos invites you to experience an evening of remembrance, beauty, and community throughout the gardens of the Los Angeles Arboretum on October 25, 2026.
As twilight settles over the landscape, enter a luminous world inspired by the vibrant Mexican tradition of honoring and remembering loved ones who have passed. Whimsical butterfly-winged greeters welcome guests into a garden transformed with flowers, art, music, and moments of reflection.
At the heart of the evening is a beautiful community altar—a gathering place for remembrance and connection.
Wander the garden paths to discover artists, fresh flowers and plants, cultural programming, and a thoughtfully curated collection of local Latin-owned businesses and makers.
Enjoy food and drinks inspired by the flavors and traditions of the community, with music and unexpected moments woven throughout the landscape.
Families are invited to experience the celebration together, with hands-on children’s crafts and creative activities offering younger guests meaningful and playful ways to connect with Día de los Muertos traditions.
