CHOC Walk in The Park Format Returns to Disneyland August 20, 2023
CHOC and the Disneyland® Resort celebrate 31 years by walking for the kids during their annual fundraising collaboration and are excited to announce CHOC Walk in the Park is back and happening presented by Disneyland® Resort, on Saturday, August 20, 2023. Join us as we reunite the Walk community for an early morning stroll through Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® Park. You won't want to miss this unique experience filled with entertainment and surprises before the parks open to the public.
As always…Proceeds from this magical event will support health care programs, education, and research at CHOC and CHOC at Mission Hospitals.
Parking structures open at 4:00am and the event starts at 6:00am.

Meet 2023 CHOC Walk Ambassador - Hudson Kent
Hudson was diagnosed with kidney cancer at the age of 15 months and underwent numerous surgeries and chemotherapy before the age of 3. But thanks to the lifesaving care he received at CHOC, we are now proud to say that Hudson is 12 years cancer free. Hudson has never let his cancer define him, but willingly shares his story in order to educate others or encourage them to support his local hospital. From an early age he has proudly stated, “I beat up cancer!"
2023 Registration Details*
Registration Details
All event participants ages 3 and older will need to register and reach the fundraising minimum in order to attend the event.
General fundraising minimum: $150 per person if you register June 1, 2023 or later
Little guests ages 2 and younger - FREE
This total may be reached through personal payments, donations from others or a combination of both.
Nonrefundable registration fee: $15
Will be charged during registration in order to reserve your spot.
This $15 will go toward your fundraising minimum for the event.
Deadline to reach your fundraising minimum: August 18 - 19 (event check-in)
Participants that don't reach their minimum before check-in can bring funds to check-in or pay the remaining balance at check-in in order to pick up their event wristband.
*NOTE: You will need to check in prior to the event day in order to get your event wristband - there will be NO check-in available on event day. More details here.
Event Day Details
Event start time = 6 am
Parking structures open = 4 am
FREE Parking at the Disneyland® Resort will be available for all CHOC Walk participants on the day of the event in the designated parking location - more details coming soon.
Admission to the Disneyland® Resort after the walk concludes is not included with your event wristband:
To experience the Disneyland® Resort theme parks after the event ends, you will need to purchase a separate park admission ticket and make a theme park reservation in advance, if available - reservations could book up weeks or months in advance, so plan accordingly.

Event Packages & Fundraising Incentives
Participants that meet certain thresholds above the fundraising minimum can earn incentives such as commemorative medallions,Disneyland®Resort Park Hopper® tickets, hotel stays and more. Fundraising totals may be reached through personal payments, donations from others or a combination of both. Below are just a few of the incentives walkers can receive.
Any fundraiser who reaches the $150 fundraising minimum ($125 early bird) and above
will receive (1) admittance to the CHOC Walk in the Park on Sunday, August 20.
There are no specially priced tickets available with your CHOC Walk wristband on the day of the event. However, there will be other incentives available with your event wristband, such as Downtown Disney® District discounts and more - details coming soon.
