Isla Nu-Bar and Jurassic Café Offerings at Universal Studios Hollywood

Isla Nu-Bar and Jurassic Café Offerings at Universal Studios Hollywood

New Isla Nu-Bar and Jurassic Café Offerings at Universal Studios Hollywood

If you need a little liquid courage before you encounter a massive Mosasaurus in Jurassic World – The Ride this summer, stop by Isla Nu-Bar, the new walk-up bar located on the Lower Lot of Universal Studios Hollywood. This new bar is part of the newly renovated and imagined Jurassic World The Ride section of the park that will also include a new remodeled Dino Dig, Jurassic Outfitters store, New Raptor Encounter area and Jurassic Café.

Isla Nu-Bar will feature a wide variety of island inspired cocktails as well as Island-themed beers – available in fun, collectible, tiki mugs! Each drink combines smooth rum with a prehistoric punch of refreshing fruit flavor. Here’s just a few of many coastal concoctions you’ll want to try next time you visit Jurassic World, all of these are only for guests ages 21+.

Tiki Tai: A unique spin on the classic Mai Tai features a pineapple rum, Myers’s dark rum, Flor de Caña white rum, and lime & pineapple juices, all mixed with an irresistible passionfruit puree.

Rum Runner: This classic beachside beverage features Mount Gay Black Barrel rum mixed with pineapple juice, Heering cherry liqueur, and a splash of orgeat.

Ti Peach: A cinnamon kick sets this flavorsome blend of peach puree, lime juice, and grenadine apart from the rest of the menu. This one is equal parts spicy, smooth, and sweet because it’s mixed with spiced and coconut rums.

Bird of Paradise: This blend of passionfruit rum, Flor de Caña white rum, passionfruit puree, and lime juice (with a touch of guava nectar) will have you feeling light as a feather.

The new Jurassic Café caters to a selection of Costa Rican-themed cuisine, inspired by the location of the JURASSIC WORLD movies. Universal Studios Hollywood’s Executive Chef Marie Grimm has created some Mouth-watering menu items include Sweet Corn Cakes with Slow Roasted Mojo Pork or Spicy Mojo Jackfruit, Citrus Glazed Chicken, Fresh Roasted Red Snapper and Isla Burger. Starters include savory Chorizo and Potato Empanadas, Crispy Lettuce Leaf Roll with Shrimp, Tropical Fruit Salad and Pomegranate Guacamole with plantain chips.  All entrees will be accompanied by fresh green papaya salad and Costa Rica’s national dish, Gallo Pinto – traditional rice and beans.

The Jurassic Outfitters store will feature a variety of collectable merchandise to commemorate the ride’s opening, including a selection of exclusive items. From limited edition t-shirts and hats to drinkware, pins, amber stones and jewelry. The shop will also carry a variety of custom-made, high-end collectible dinosaur sculptures and maquettes. These incredibly crafted statement pieces replicate the Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor, Dilophosaurus, Styracosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus and Triceratops and range in price up to $1,000.

New Cutting Edge Slo-Mo Video Capture Offers a Memorable Souvenir of your Daring Escape from the Tyrannosaurus rex and Indominus rex: Become immortalized in one of the ride’s momentous scenes as you plunge down the treacherous 84-foot waterfall with a slo-mo video capture offered exclusively at “Jurassic World—The Ride.”  The iconic moment will be available for purchase and received digitally for riders to share via their social media platforms so they assure their friends that they indeed survived the vicious dinosaurs. Keepsake digital images will also be available for purchase.

Experience 175 days of fun for $149 when you purchase the new California Neighbor Pass online. Visit for more details. Blackout dates and restrictions apply.
