PARTners is the theme of this years Pageant of the Masters

From the beginning of time, two has always better than one and PARTners, this years theme displays some of the most influential and famous of those couples throughout time. From the most infamous of couples Adam and Eve to some of our most cherished on screen partners, this years pageant is one with stunning sets, live dancing and some overhead surprises you have to see for yourself!

As a true fan of the arts, I was really excited to see this performance. The venue is a perfect pairing for this beautifully executed display of trompe l'oeil all displayed under the stars. The dancers were skilled addition to the show and an enjoyable treat to watch. The sets are honestly beyond believable, I had issues deciding if it was just a painting and if all the subjects were real people or just some. I loved the point in the show they demonstrated the process from beginning to end, fully creating the visual masterpiece live on stage. From choosing the actors to makeup and costume right up to them stepping into the painting set itself. The final lighting along with the live orchestra still made me blink in disbelief!

Planning on attending? Here are a few tips for before your visit:

Get there early, parking is public and with the art show and dining all within the complex it can be a bit busy.
Even though we are right in the middle of summer, the air can be a chilly in the canyon, bring a light sweater or wrap.
If you seats are not within the first few dozen rows (single letter seats ex. D3) I would recommend bringing binoculars. They have them for rent on site along with light blankets too.
As for children, I would say this is more geared towards adults, would make a unique night out or date night experience.
