Irvine Park Railroad's Annual Pumpkin Patch is happening this year! This annual event is a local favorite for thousands of families and even with the Cover-19 restrictions they are continuing this very popular family tradition with several safety measures. This is one of the best Pumpkin Patches around by far and with so many fall events being cancelled … don’t miss this one!
Due to COVID-19, this year’s Pumpkin Patch will be much different than in years past. The park is modifying and scaling this event down to ensure the safety of all visitors as well as their staff. Here are some important things to know before you go:
They will be limiting the number of visitors at this event and allowing families in on a 1-out,1-in basis.
To purchase a pumpkin, you will have several options shown to you by a staff member from behind a counter that you can choose from. You will not be able to walk around and pick out a pumpkin like in previous years unfortunately.
In addition to the train and hay wagon ride, there will be a couple game booths that will be sanitized after every use and a few photo opportunity areas for you to take photos with your family or group.
With the modifications the park is making, they hope to keep this Fall tradition alive for your family. It is strongly recommend that you plan your visit during the week or early morning weekend hours to avoid any lines.
Socially distance at least 6’ apart from other visitors at all times.
Wear face coverings at all times.
Use the hand sanitizer provided at stations around the train station and Wheel Fun Rentals at Irvine Park rental counter.
it is always free to enter the pumpkin patch. Be sure to bring your camera and feel free to dress your little ones up in their costumes.
The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is open daily October 1 through October 31st
Weekdays 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Weekends 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.

FYI: Parking at Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends. As Halloween nears, it's best you plan to arrive early to avoid crowds, particularly on the weekend.
