What's New and Coming to Disneyland in 2020
So much happened this year at the Disneyland Resort and there is so much more to come in 2020! From an all new parade to some big refurbishments, keeping up with the Disneyland Resort in 2020 is gonna be tough but oh so fun! If you are panning a trip you might want to check out when things are happening to plan accordingly.
Here is what we know so far and is coming to the Disneyland Resort in 2020.
Rise of the Resistance within Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens January 17th. The Resistance needs your help! Hidden in the forest outside Black Spire Outpost, the Resistance is gathering recruits for a secret mission. Ride height requirements: 40” (102 cm) or Taller
An all new daytime Parade Magic Happens at Disneyland starts February 28!
This new parade is lead by Mickey Mouse and features Frozen 2,” Anna and Elsa explore the mysteries of an enchanted forest protected by Nokk, the mystical water spirit, as their friends Kristoff, Sven and Olaf tag along. Moana and legendary demigod and Pua. The Coco float bridges the Land of the Living and the Land of the Dead with vibrant marigolds, fantastical alebrije spirit animals, along with Miguel’s dog Danté. The regal grand finale of “Magic Happens” celebrates magical moments from several classic Disney stories, including the happily-ever-after scene from “Sleeping Beauty” with a trio of fairies and Princess Aurora’s gown shimmering between hues of pink and blue.
Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure scheduled to open Summer of 2020. This all new 5 Acre land that was once home to Bugs Land will open in 2 passes just as Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge did in that only one of the two new attractions will be open upon its reveal with the second attraction opening at a later date.
