Walking for my Hero cape CHOC Walk in the Park (c) Cleverly Catheryn

Hero Up! This year's CHOC Walk in the Park  brings a touching way to pay tribute to the memory of those who can no longer walk the event. Team Carter Strong who participated in several CHOC Walk in the Park events lost his battle with cancer last year and in honor of him and others this blue super hero cape "Walking for my Hero" will be made available 1 per team for those walking for their loved ones who have passed. See site for more details.

CHOC Walk’s estimated 14,000 walkers and 650 teams are participants from across the U.S. and around the world. The Disneyland Resort has always been a part of CHOC Walk, since its inception in 1990. In partnership with the Disneyland Resort, CHOC Children’s has raised over $32 million dollars to date. Event and registration information can be found at and real-time event information can also be found on Facebook and Twitter. #Chocwalk

With the support of Dave & Busters CHOC Walk in the Park has offered one of my readers 4- 42 "Chip" Gift Cards good for game play in the Million Dollar Midway (aprox. value $40.00)
